A new year

Brooklyn Currents | 9/30/2016 | 0 comments

At sundown Sunday, Oct. 2, Jews in Brooklyn will join their fellows around the rest of the city, nation, and world to usher in Rosh Hashannah, the "head of the year," marking a period of repentance and introspection that began a month ago and culminates with Yom Kippur, falling this year on the secular calendar beginning at sundown, Tuesday, Oct. 11.

We wish all our readers a  shannah tova -- a good year!
