Kids feeding kids

Students Against HungerFood Bank For New York City has called upon students in all five boroughs to become active participants in the fight against hunger this Thanksgiving season and be kids feeding kids.

Statistics show that more than 90% of children receiving a free or reduced lunch at school are at risk of not eating again that day.

In the campaign, which began in September, students are asked to bring to school non-perishable food items to donate.

If you are a student, teacher, or administrator and have any questions, feel free to contact Indhira Castillo, food/fund sourcing coordinator, at icastillo@foodbanknyc.org.
