Following the deaths of two Brooklynites hit by privately operated snow plows in separate incidents earlier this month, there was another vehicular fatality on Sunday, Feb. 23.

A 25-year-old man was hit and killed by a sanitation truck about 9 a.m. at the intersection of Kingston Avenue and Carroll Street in Crown Heights.

Police said the truck was making a right turn onto Carroll Street when the victim was hit and crushed by its back wheel.

Police found the man -- who was not publicly identified by this posting --  lying in the street with severe head trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation was continuing.
