Police said a man on a bike passed by Yossi's Wine and Liquor on 18th Avenue between 57th and 58th streets about 6:20 p.m., saw that  there was only one employee working  alone, then walked in and started asking the clerk about the wine and liquors.

He asked the clerk about a bottle behind the counter, and as the clerk turned around, the man took out a knife and stabbed him several times in the head and neck, grabbed some cash and fled, police said.
