Voting absentee? There's not much time left!

We offer this announcement from the Flatbush Jewish Community Council for the benefit of 

any of our readers planning to cast an absentee ballot for the upcoming elections:

The New York City general election for Mayor, 

Comptroller, Public Advocate and local City 

Council races is Tuesday, Nov. 5. 


The deadline to request an absentee 

ballot isTuesday Oct. 29.

The FJCC strongly all registered voters in Flatbush and in the rest of the city to vote. Recent elections have been won and lost by a margin of only a few votes.

If you or a family member will not be able to vote in person on Nov. 5, please make sure to fill out and send in an absentee ballot request postmarked by Oct. 29.

The Board of Elections will mail you a ballot, which must be returned to the Board of Elections postmarked no later than Nov. 4.
