Attention criminals: The streets don't belong to you

All in southern Brooklyn are invited to come to the 30th annual National Night Out at the 61st Precinct, 2575 Coney Island Avenue at Avenue W, from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6.
The 61st joins other precincts around the city and the nation that evening to demonstrate that "our streets belong to the people of the community, not criminals,"  the NYPD said.

The gathering – free and open to all ages – features summer barbecue, inflatable amusements, entertainment, and greetings from local elected officials.
